Youth Voice and Participation Event

On Thursday the 24th November we held our very first in-person event. It was an opportunity for young people and participation workers to come together, discuss youth engagement, network, and learn more about Future Youth Impact.

Despite not having the turn out we were expecting, we left with a new Social Action Co-ordinator and some potential partners. We would certainly consider our first event a success! It gave us a lot of useful info that we will definitely take forward when looking at running similar events in the future.

Last minute, we decided to record the presentations and make a short webinar so those who were not able to attend physically can still engage. Unfortunately, none of the team professional editors so it might take some time before we are ready to share. We felt that this was important in order to stay true to the values of FYI: with inclusivity and accessibility at its heart.
