Engagement

Our work on youth engagement, utilizes the intersection between creativity, accessibility, and children right's by delivering workshops that inspire the young people we work with. They are giving the tools to collaborate, develop skills, and feel empowered, all whilst accessing their right to be heard and listened to.

We have designed a tried and tested framework for our engagement that can be adapt to suit the environment and needs of a specific group of young people.

Primary Schools

Our workshops with primary school aged young people aim to spark limitless, imaginative ideas which can extract realistic ideas from at a later day. The participants work together to draw and write their own perfect planets, with active learning time also included.

Online Groups

Future Youth Impact has a global network, therefore it is essential that we utilize online tools. This is a key example of how we adapt the general frameworks to better suit an environment, by encouraging the use of tools like miro, scratch, and canva to promote skill develop and international cooperation.

Secondary Schools

When working with secondary schools, we aim to spark debates and open dialogue about children's rights where we can learn from each other. Participants are then encouraged to design an ideal city, and then translate their pints into realistic asks from decision-makers.

Youth Groups

Our ethos is able to be translated into existing setting such as youth groups with their own priorities. Instead of imagining planets or cities, we focus on the area of their interest and weave this within the workshop, including relevant areas for discussion.
