We constantly looking for ways to improve our formula for participation. By concluding research with young people through surveys, focus groups, and interviews, we are able to gain a better understanding of what young people want from an organisation like ours. We use this research, and insights gained from our partners to develop our strategies which will be shared with you soon.

Methodology

Surveys

Enable us to gain insights from a wide variety off young people, from across the globe, in a short space of time. Also, they are accessible o those who might be unable to come to session in-person or who has the means to join a zoom meeting.

Focus Groups

At the end of our focus groups, we ask the young people to tell us what they enjoyed and what they would improve allowing us to have an honest dialogue and create shared steps to move forward.

Interviews

In the future, we are eager to conduct interviews with young people and UNCRC duty bearers to have deeper discussions about participation and the methods that we use during our workshops.

Partner Insights

By reading reports, attending forums, and having meetings with our partners we can share what we have learnt, whilst ensuring that we keep our own unique elements.

Your Views Your Voice Survey

The Your Views, Your Voice received responses from young people over 10 countries. They had the opportunity to share their experience of youth voice and participation, whilst also helping us to gain a greater sense of what young people would like to see within these opportunities.
